Every year, since 1954, the International Association of Administrative
Professionals has designated an official theme for Administrative
Professionals Week. This year's theme is "Ambassadors of Excellence." Per
IAAP's president, Sheila Brownfield, the theme
"signifies admin's key roles as front-line public relations representatives
and communication hubs in today's global business environment. Clients and
vendors often judge the character of a business by the quality and
efficiency of its administrative support staff. . . Admins know how to use
diplomacy, tact, and influence to get a job done."
