On May 22nd & 23rd, 2003, Chattanooga City Government and Neighborhood
Services are hosting the 28th Annual Conference on Neighborhood Concerns
for NUSA (Neighborhoods in the USA). One of the 10 Workshop Track
Categories is "for" and "about" Youth. Chattanooga would like to provide a
1 ½ hour workshop that features local agencies involved with children and
youth volunteering and impacting our regional area. The workshop will be
composed of youth speaking about the program of which they are personally
involved, what the program offers youth and how the volunteers affect their
community. The panel of youth will be limited in number so please be
specific about the description of your most beneficial program and
community service project. The representative youth should be able to
communicate well and possess a high level of comfort with audience
interaction. Please email ([log in to unmask]) or fax (423-267-8060) to
The Volunteer Center your proposals with the program description.

The deadline for panel candidates is Monday, February 3, 2003
