No connection to the formerly fantasy(?) RAVEN society for which posters
were displayed on campus once a year, anouncing that the RAVEN would "meet
at the usual time in the usual place"?  This dates back to the UC years,
and continued quite a while longer--for at least as long as a certain
English professor was teaching.
