Last spring, building occupant surveys were sent to Faculty and Staff, with
an approximate response rate of 25%.  Surveys were analyzed by the Office of
Planning, Evaluation and Institutional Research.  Overall results can be

Another component in determining the placement of our limited resources is
assessment of the various services performed by the Facilities Division,
both in terms of importance to you and the quality of this service. A hard
copy version of this survey was sent earlier this week to all Deans,
Directors, and Department Heads. We ask that those individuals submit
responses via campus mail by Friday, October 18, to Janet Spraker, Assistant
Director for Engineering Services, Dept.# 3553.  We plan to have a
web-access survey form available for all faculty and staff later this year.

Many thanks to each of you that responded, and for the comments both
complimentary and critical.  Even with limited funds, we want to assure that
dollars are spent wisely.  Your input will also enable us to better respond
to SACS assessments and outcome criteria.
