Professor Ling Jun Wang of Physics has recently been invited to join the
Board of Directors for the World Scientific and Engineering Academy and
Society (WSEAS). He has accepted the invitation to serve on the board for
this worldwide non-profit organization that promotes the development and
consideration of new mathematical methods and computational techniques to
be used in science and engineering. WSEAS also supports research through
the funding of research projects, grants scholarships and prizes,
organizing international conferences and seminars, as well as publishing
journals and books. Furthermore, WSEAS collaborates with universities and
state or private research centers to further the distribution of scientific
and engineering knowledge.

Professor Wang's position on the Board of Directors of WSEAS serves as
recognition for his work and is an honor to the entire UTC community.
Congratulations to Professor Wang for this achievement.
