Dr. Cathie Smith has recently been awarded $4,886 by the Association of
Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses to study responses to stress
in preterm infants.  This research will provide valuable information for
medical professionals who strive to optimize each infant's and family's
strengths and capacities while also reducing stresses on infants and their
families.
