Dr. Nick Honerkamp has been awarded a $21,524 contract by Ross/Fowler PC
Architecture Landscape Planning to complete the archaeological survey and
monitoring of a proposed extension of the Tennessee Riverpark.

The extension of the Riverpark is from the Kennedy Warehouses tract to the
Fishing Park at the C.B. Robinson Bridge.  The significance of the
archaeological remains that are uncovered will be evaluated in terms of
criteria established by the National Register of Historic Places.  Phase
Two of this archaeological study has also been given a time extension that
will run through April 2001.

Congratulations to Dr. Honerkamp for securing funds to effectively complete
Phase Two of this project.
