My wife Annie and I are hoping to hire a part-time "Nanny" to help care for
our two-month old daughter Laura instead of putting her in daycare when my
wife returns to work in October. Annie, a Systems Analyst at Erlanger,
will actually be working from home, but will need someone to help with the
baby so she can get her work done. While details are negotiable, we would
need someone there for around five hours a day, four days a week. Someone
who lives near Signal Mountain would be ideal, since that is our home.

So far Laura is a happy baby and a joy to be with (this is a completely
objective opinion, of course). Pictures are available at
http://www.cdc.net/~rling/baby/at_home.htm. If you or someone you know has
tried an arrangement like this and could offer advice, that would also be
appreciated.
