UTC's Shannon Wommack Runs for NCAA Steeplechase Title Friday

 

 

 

Chattanoogans and UTC staffers are all invited to gather at Fox and Hound
Pub and Grille at Hamilton Place Friday night to watch four-time All-America
Shannon Wommack as she seeks to claim the national championship in the
3,000-meter steeplechase.  

 

 

 

Friday night's NCAA final will be the second of Wommack's career.   A
doctoral student in Physical Therapy, she finished fifth in last year's
steeplechase to claim All-America honors.  Wommack was the fastest of 27
entrants in Wednesday's preliminaries, finishing in 10:08.20.

 

 

 

College Sports Television (CSTV) will televise live action from 8-10 p.m.
(EST) Friday night.  Fans are invited to gather at The Fox and Hound at 8
p.m. in advance of the steeplechase which is scheduled for 9:35 p.m. 

 

 

 

CSTV can be found on DirectTV channel 610 or Dish Network channel 152.

 

 

 

Make plans now to join fellow UTC fans at Fox and Hound as we cheer Shannon
