Colleagues,

My thanks to Dr. Rice for the reminder about the faculty meeting next week
(January 22). Given this rather significant conflict, I've changed the WAC
workshop date. So...

All faculty interested in Writing Across the Curriculum are invited to
attend the first meeting of the spring term. Our focus will be on
developing successful writing assignments. Come prepared to share ideas
and success stories.

When: Tuesday, January 27 at 3:30
Where: Faculty Club
Food and drink provided!

For more information on Writing Across the Curriculum at UTC, check out the
WAC web site: <http://www.utc.edu/~wacatutc/>http://www.utc.edu/~wacatutc/

Regards,

Joe

PS (with NEW info on location): Mark your calendar! WAC is teaming up
with the Writing Center and with the Walker Teaching Resource Center this
term to provide an April workshop on enhancing content curricula through
writing, on using the Writing Center, and on grading writing
assignments. This meeting will be held April 2nd, 11:30-1:30 in the Ocoee
Room. Please register in advance at: http://www.utc.edu/~trc/Spring2004.html
