UTC Faculty and Staff,

Please feel free to drop in today, Thursday, April 15 at 2:30 pm in the
University Center, Ocoee Room for "The Lean University" videoconference. A
description of the videoconference, lasting approximately 1 and 1/2 hours,
and presenters is listed below.

Quality Initiatives: The Lean University in Action

The Lean University™ is a strategic initiative developed to respond to the
ever-increasing need to serve more students during a time of decreasing
financial support from state sources. Negative internal customer feedback
regarding response time from administration, constant complaints of
bureaucratic red tape, and poor customer service orientation led to the
adaptation of this incredible concept. It allows the university to
re-engineer processes to accomplish more work in less time with increased
customer satisfaction.
