The best information I have from our technical contact in Knoxville is that
if you listened to the announcements in November and have already installed
the new IRIS client (SAPgui version 6.20), you do NOT necessarily need to
upgrade your computer again to be ready for the changes being made in
Knoxville in March. Any version of 6.20 that is working fine now should
work fine for the foreseeable future (the only issue is with a fairly
obscure error message that many people will never encounter).

We do recommend that you check that you are running version 620, which has
been available since November. Only version 620 will be able to run IRIS
after March 29. To check, click the SAPLogon or SAPLogon-Pad icon to start
IRIS. If the logon window does not say "SAP Logon 620" or "SAP Logon-pad
620" along its top border, you need to update.

IMPORTANT: If you do need to update your IRIS installation, we strongly
recommend that you NOT use the IRIS portal out of Knoxville because it will
take from one to three hours to download. Instead, please visit our local
download site at http://slug.ceca.utc.edu/iris/SAPGUI620.EXE, which will
accomplish the same task over UTC's network in less than a minute. Thanks
to Mike Ward and CECA for providing this service.

If you have questions or problems, you may call the Help Desk at 425-4000
and we'll try to help you sort it out.

Thanks.
