Wesley Null is an associate professor of curriculum and foundations of education in the School of Education and the Honors College at Baylor University. Null’s scholarly interests include curriculum theory, history of education, and pedagogy. He has authored and edited five books and numerous journal articles. Null is editor of the American Educational History Journal.
Please join us for the evening when Dr. Wesley Null will draw upon his well-known book Forgotten Heroes of American Education to show how universities can join with K-12 schools to revive the teaching profession. Null will make the case that the only route to achieving the goal of universal liberal education is to focus on high-quality curriculum, teaching, and teacher education.
We are expecting a large crowd and seating could be limited. If you would like to reserve seats in advance, please e-mail [log in to unmask] or call Channa at (423) 425-5446 and specify “Wesley Null lecture.” The deadline for reserved seating is Tuesday March 31st.
