Dr. William Nelson, the second candidate for Dean of the Lupton Library,
will meet with the Department Heads and Faculty on Tuesday, February 17
from 1-2 in the Raccoon Mt. Rm at the University Center.

William Nelson will do a brief presentation on "Challenges and Solutions in
Today's Academic Library".  This is an open meeting and UTC Faculty and
Staff are encouraged to attend.

Dr. Nelson is currently Professor and Library Director at Augusta State
University where he has served since 1993.  He has earned a Master of
Library Science and a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies from Louisiana State
University. His curriculum vita is available at the Lupton Library and/or
the Provost Office.
