Sincerely,

Subject: Updates on Scott and Buster

Hey folks,

Some updates. Don't know if they will help, but here's what I know to

date.

Buster should be released from the hospital this weekend (I think

Saturday afternoon). The scans apparently revealed that the bypasses

were holding up fine; he has an irregular heartbeat, but it's

regularly irregular, if that makes any sense. At any rate, Carol says

there is conversation about a pacemaker...but that it may be a little

while before they decide if he needs one. I'm sure we'll hear from

Buster when he feels up to it.

And, for those who would like what little more information about

Scott, here's the text of the obituary from Wednesday's paper:

Scott Allison Bridges, died on Friday, May 9, 2008. A native

of Atlanta, Scott graduated from T.M.I. and was president of Alkahest

Artists and Attractions. He enjoyed playing tennis at Bitsy Grant

Tennis Center in Atlanta. He and his wife Elizabeth moved to

Chattanooga in 2006.

Scott was a devoted husband and father. Scott will be lovingly missed

by his wife of 20 years, Elizabeth; his children, Kenny Bridges and

Kellie Peeler; grandchildren, Daeshia Borden, Blake Peeler, Shayden

Bridges and Jordyn Peeler, all of East Tennessee.

A memorial service commemorating Scott's life will be held at a later

date. Memorial contributions in memory of Scott may be made to the

Georgia Tennis Foundation, Inc. for Bitsy Grant Tennis. Mail to

Friends of Bitsy Grant Tennis, 1266 West Paces Ferry Road, Box 113,

Atlanta, Ga. 30327 or other charities of your choice.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7454

E. Brainerd Road.
