Sooo... ever one to step up when something is needed, Mr. Dan Mann, Esq. not only paid his membership renewal but his AC18 conference registration through our brand-spankin’ new online credit card processing portal. Whoooeee, don’t know if I can stand the excitement something working like it’s supposed to. Not to mention our first official conference registration. And payment. Don’t forget the payment.

Anyway, and seriously, what we found out on behalf of all ya’ll is that while our credit card processor (Stripe) sends a receipt to both the person paying online and to me, it is only a basic “You paid $xxx.yy” kind of receipt. For those of us who require a bit more information so our accounting folks don’t come after us with pitchforks and such, our website generates a receipt with more detail. But that more detailed receipt only goes to little ol’ me. 

We’re going to play this by ear as I have no idea how many folks are actually going to utilize the online payments but what I’ll do is forward the receipt from our website to you if you need it. If demand really picks up and money’s flying into the coffers at breakneck speed from our online payment system, I may have to get Adam to rewrite the code to kick out a receipt directly to you, but we’ll wait and see if that’s really needed. In the meantime, if you need more details than what’s on the little receipt from Stripe, just send me an email and I’ll send out a copy of what I get from our website.
