First, a welcome to new members-to-be Donald Fann (Arts Center of
Cannon County) , Bridgette Kohnhorst (Vanderbilt University), Brad
Downall (Glema Mahr Center for the Arts), Barry Lichterman (Friend of
the Levitt Pavillion - Memphis) and Cindy Cogbill (Folk Alliance -
Memphis). I promised each of you a membership packet as soon as I got
back from Baltimore, and it's attached to this message.

I also thought it was a good time to remind everyone who has said yes
to our membership drive that it also means we need the check. Take a
moment today to fill out attached form and mail in your membership and
check to the address on the form. The more of us who sign up, the more
attractive we are as an organization to the agents and artists who are
more than willing to work with us on reduced fees in return for
multiple dates in Tennessee.

Our membership drive for agents and artists will begin the first of the
year after we see who among us is signed up for membership. We'll close
the charter member drive after the November booking conference; those
of you on this list who have not sent in dues checks will be removed
from the list at that point and we'll begin building the organization
for those who have joined.

Keep your eyes open for a report from Baltimore along with information
on the upcoming booking conference at TPAC - it promises to save all of
us who participate some serious money - as we found a lot of
interesting acts and a lot of agents willing to give us significant
breaks in return for multiple dates.

So don't forget, November 1 and 2 in Nashville! We'll have more
information for you later this week!
