Sorry for the bad “Young Frankenstein” headline, but I just wanted to thank everyone for your support these past couple of weeks - it has made a difference.
Other than just being tired, I’m feeling fine. My follow-up appointment was yesterday and my surgeon has given me the thumbs-up to take on activity as possible to keep from being bored to death. This of course, is with the caveat that it will take me six months (two months for each hour I was under) to flush the effects of the anesthesia from my system. So I’m looking at maybe going in to the office for a couple or three hours a day sometime after the first of the month and/or working from home some. I’ll no doubt continue to nap heavily during the day as well. But things could not have turned out better. All my blood numbers are again normal so it’s a matter of just getting my strength back.
Again, thanks so, so much for your emails and cards and crossword puzzles and thoughts. They have meant so much to both Pat and me. You folks are truly a special collection of wonderful people.
Thanks again,
Bob
