Thanks, Dan. I got the minutes and will distribute to the board when I get a minute.
The Mummies have been to UTC before and if I’m transitioning into the money making business, I’m sure they’ll be here again. They have a huge following in Chattanooga. Not sure they’d do 1700 at $75 or more but I’ll give ‘em a look. Dixie may have had his biggest ever non-Coke stage crowd a couple of summers ago when he had the Mummies. I know, I was there. My buddy who runs Rhythm & Brews here in town can get me hooked up with them. Fortunately, he’s also agreed to sit in on the steering committee. Good to have someone around who knows how to make money down and dirty.
I’ve got a line on a top notch violinist who’s a personal friend of one of our two living, but retired, Chancellors. The one who nurtured this series for so many years. Waiting to see if I can get said Chancellor to help me so I won’t mention names just yet for the fund raiser but if he will do it, the odds get a whole lot better.
Pat was hoping to retire this year - trying to keep her propped up right now.
