I'm pretty sure there are several members, beginning with Buster, who 
applied for funding but did not receive any to help cover the cost of 
performers they booked.

It seems that in the realm of the performing arts, if it's not dance, 
it doesn't get funded by SAF.

Personally, I don't bother applying for any of it because the amount of 
paperwork involved on the front and back ends requires more time (even 
at only $20/hour) than the grant is usually worth.

But you've heard me grump about this before. And I would prefer this 
not get forwarded beyond this list.
