Dear Friends,

I am writing to announce that after five extraordinary years, I am moving on from my role as Artistic Director at OZ Arts Nashville. I have accepted a position with the National YoungArts Foundation<http://www.youngarts.org/about> as Senior Director of Alumni Programming, and will be relocating to Miami, Florida next month.

This new position is dedicated to fostering relationships with national partners for new work development, residency & presentation for artist alums of YoungArts. I am excited and hopeful that I will be able to expand possibilities for the next generation of artists, and continue working with you – just in a new capacity.

I have grown to love Nashville and the artist community here so much, this was not an easy decision to make. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished at OZ Arts since opening, and of the artistic offerings to come in the 2018/2019 Season. The generous artists, ambitious Board and organization, as well as the creative approach to making each and every presentation a one-of-a-kind experience has positioned OZ Arts in a class of its own. I am hopeful that a new artistic leader will be able to build upon what we have created and work with the wonderful team at OZ Arts to take advantage of its enormous potential.

And I owe all of you at Tennessee Presenters Association a huge debt of gratitude for the kindness you've shown me, and for introducing me to the great work you're doing across the state. I will definitely be in touch going forward, and hope to introduce you to a myriad of incredible artist alumns from YoungArts!

I will also be back in Nashville regularly to see performances and installations at OZ Arts, and will be present at national conferences and gatherings of colleagues once I’ve gotten settled in Miami. Until I arrive to YoungArts, please contact me on my personal email, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>

All my very best and enormous thanks to all of you who have been part of this incredible chapter,

Lauren
