Hi folks,

I just sent out the first public invitation to a small list of
non-member agents, which included the brochure you will find attached
(thanks for everyone's input).

As you will see from the copy of the email below, the big news is that
Dixie Carter will be in attendance as our keynote speaker! (everyone
bow three times towards Huntingdon, please...) Seriously, I want to
thank Lee Warren profusely for staying on top of this invitation and
making it happen. Dixie is nothing if not passionate about the state of
the arts today, so we're going to hear from not only one of the finest
actresses to ever grace Hollywood, but from a passionate arts advocate
as well.

I also want to thank our own Carla Pritchard for being part of a panel
for the afternoon workshop on sponsorship acquisition, Laura Colby for
being part of the panel for Monday morning's session and Rich Boyd has
kindly agreed to deliver some remarks at lunch on Monday. Thanks to
each and every one of you.

Additionally, it appears we are in line for some significant funding
from the Tennessee Arts Commission to help support this conference!
It's not a done deal until the money is in our account, but Hal tells
us everything is ready to go pending commission approval later this
week in Knoxville. Once again, a huge thank you to Rich and Company for
their ongoing support of our efforts.

Now - it's time for the marketing to begin. I need each of you to call
you favorite agent-people and tell them about the conference. I still
need you to send me their e-mail addresses so I can send them an
announcement. Don't delay - we need to get this done now; Ohio is
already marketing its conference, which is a week or two before ours.
We need people here!!

So - here's the list of e-mails that received our first invitation. I
think you'll recognize pretty much everyone on the list:

I need more names and e-mail addresses! Send them pronto... I
definitely need an e-mail for Art Fegan, since he's right there in
Nashville. For some reason, I don't have his email on my home computer.

I'm attaching updated copies of the presenters' registration form to
this email and will forward the agents' registration form separately so
we don't clog up too many email filters. Please feel free to forward
copies on to non-member presenters and agents! It's time to tell the
world!

Thanks again,

Bob
