Greetings!

We are currently putting together a tour in Tennessee of our renowned
artists, Andes Manta for late June 2009 and would love to get some
additional dates. As part of a block and because we are late in the
booking season, we would be able to offer discounts to presenters who come
on board. Please contact me at 917-202-0433 or via email at
[log in to unmask] to discuss dates and availability for June
or for 2009-2010.

The vibrant, powerful music of the Andes is played from Colombia to Tierra
del Fuego, and none play it better than ANDES MANTA, bringing this unique
art form to North America in its purist, most authentic form. As natives
of the Ecuadorian Andes, the Lopez brothers learned their traditional folk
music as it has been learned for thousands of years, passed from father to
son, brother to brother. ANDES MANTA believes that through their music
they bring a rare opportunity for cultural understanding between the
people of their homeland, South America, and the people of modern North
America. Interweaving the music and folklore of their home country, these
virtuosos play over 35 traditional instruments.

“…Audience loved this program and the warm presentation by very talented
musicians; very authentic in every way…A huge success! Outstanding!”
— Sheila Boone, Events Manager, Austin Peay State University Community
Concert Artist Series, TN

“…I can’t begin to say enough wonderful things about our engagement with
Andes Manta. From beginning to end, it was a presenter’s dream.” — Teri
Guerrisi, Director, Performing Artist Series, Rose Lehrman Arts Center
