Thanks for this. I have to laugh.
Scubapro says the experts they sent the damaged reg to for analysis
determined that the failure was caused by "over-torque and exposure to
an underwater environment." Over-torquing what? And more to the
point, who's the silly bugger who put his regulator in an "underwater
environment." Didn't he know that could cause it to fail?
I'll might go for the free "universal yoke retainer" upgrade, though it
would probably make more sense just to switch both these regulators
over to DIN and be done with it. I'd still prefer two nice new shiny
MK25s though.
