Oh, I forgot (did I heck as like :-), after the first dive Saturday we
spotted 4 or 5 Basking Sharks (see
http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/wildfacts/factfiles/185.shtml ). These really
are MONSTERS !!! I thought the
Greater Hammerheads I dived with in Tobago were big, these dwarf the
Hammerheads! They must have been 6-7m long.
The skipper dropped us in to snorkel with them, then when they had gone
past us the skipper would come
round to pick us up & drop us off again. It was absolutley magic. One came
past me close enough to see that it had
remoras on it's back just behind it's fin. It will take weeks to wipe the
smile off my face :-)

It certainly beats building garden sheds & artificial trees :-)
