For Crusty's sake can we end this thread.  Tonight I put a check for
$2376.26 in the mail to Crusty, and now I'm starting to think that I should
wait a few days to see where this thread goes.  We're getting pretty far
afield of travel to Cozumel, and I can't imagine that it will be other than
to the detriment of the NEDfest in June.

        There are already too many people who aren't going to the NEDfest because
of  disagreements unrelated to diving except in the most peripheral
way.  Do we have to up the ante, or do we want to fill the CAIV with blood
enemies instead of joyful diving brothers (and sisters though I notice that
the women are sensibly leaving this thread alone).

        New thought, I'm going to leave the check in the mailbox and send the
thread to Eudora's trash can, an idea I recommend to everyone.
