I think I've seen quite a bit of JJ and Robert's side of what happened
relative to the Ox exhibition. It certainly sounds like a highly unethical
event has occurred. Unfortunately, I have hard almost nothing from the
other camp. Not surprising, I suppose since they are on the other side of
the world and may well have no idea we are here of, for now, care that we
are. Discussions that involve only one side of an issue often sound very
different than when both sides are heard and understood.

I'm not saying that the invitation and its withdrawal are OK. In fact, I
find it hard to imagine how they could be justified. Still, before forming
an opinion, I'd like to hear from the other side. I'd like to know what
they were thinking and why they thought their actions were appropriate and
what they think about their actions in retrospect.

If Strike or anyone else has a contact that can be reached via this
international media we're so fond of, I'd be interested in contacting
hearing from someone who has contacted the organizers who reportedly made
and withdrew the invitation.
