Hai,

had a great time at Wakatobi. Don't think I really need to see any more
pygmy seahorses for a while. They look much better in pictures anyway. At
least you can actually SEE the bloody things in a picture. Better than I
could even with my magnifying glass.

Bali NED part II also went well. Seas were too rough to go back to Batu
Abah, but I still did another 4 nice dives there. One at Manta Point - this
time a few were home. Also saw some robust ghost pipefish at that site,
floating over the sand, strangely enough. Saw lots of those in the seagrass
at Wakatobi. Next day a couple of relaxing dives with Robert on the west
side of Nusa Penida.

Once again, no mountain climbing required, seas were rough on the south
side, but currents really tame.
Crystal Cave was one of the sites. A bit too much surge here, the seas were
kicking in from the south. This site is close to whre we were hooked by the
anglers last year. I think we dived/dove the same bay last year, but
without going to the cavern.
The Bali stay ended with some relaxed drinking at Robert's home and a nice
meal at his favorite restoran.

Don't know why I used to dislike Bali so much. I like it just fine now.

42 dives on this little trip, 50 hours under water. Average dive time just
over 70 minutes per dive. Followed the old rule of first in - last out
often. That, and, Wakatobi is really relaxed about dive times. No nonsense
about being back on the boat after 50 minutes. For air hogs they even have
AL 100s. Which got one of the group bent. Newbie, diving air.

Landed in MUC just a few hours ago. Nice temperatures here, sunny. But no
beergarden weather in the weekend forecast.

More on all of this later.
