Guys..... Enough already :-)))

I thank those of you who have supported my view that Bob's humour on this 
occasion was misplaced.
I have accepted his apology to me but cannot forgive his reply to Christian.
I would accept ANYTHING written by Jim Church in the spirit in which it was 
offered and did - thank you Russ!
Some of you may remember my request for ways in which I could improve the 
thermal properties of my wetsuit in order to go diving in the icy wates of 
Scotland and the series of ribald answers I received at that time were 
nothing short, I thought, of hilarious.
I expected the same sort of  advice with this request - some slightly iffy 
suggestions amongst others which were perfectly acceptable (like the hand 
signals I'd forgotten about)

I had thought that my time on this list was up but have decided to continue 
because of the gems which are written about from time to time which so 
delight me in an activity I adored but in which I can no longer participate.
So thank you, gentlemen, for restoring my faith in diving and divers.
