I've been diving a Mk-20 for years with no problem or hint of a crack, but when I get home, I'll take a good look to make sure I didn't miss something.

The link you provided is a bit suspicious.  The NOAA header appears to be a cut and paste job.  While the real form may look that way, but it's unusual enough for me to want confirmation before spreading this notice around in public.
