Guess what?   I'll be ONE DAY late!

That's both the BAD and GOOD news.  :-)

The bad news is of course I have one LESS day to spend in Singapore
than I had thought.  Of all these times I've crossed the International
Date Line, I had forgotten that it's ALREADY 16:30 of April 16 in
Japan and I haven't even started on the flight to Singapore YET, and
I had thought I was going to be there at 1:05 am on the 16th!

So, I am here, at the NWA Lounge of Narita Airport Tokyo, waiting
for the next connecting flight, having already flown 2 hrs to IAH,
4 more hours to LAX, and 11 more hours to Tokyo.  I think we have
another 3350 miles to go.  :-)

So, what's the GOOD news?

The good news is that when I arrive SIN, it'll be 1:05 AM of April 17th,
but I already had my Conrad room booked for April 16-22, so we'll be
able to go there directly without having to spend 6 hrs at the "holding
tank" at the Airport before leaving it.

THe doubly good news is that we'll both SLEEP WELL as soon as we start
our night of April 16 at around 3 or 4 am or April 17.  :-))

As far as I can tell, now is 4:40 am April 16 at Choo Choo
                             1:40 am April 16 at Pacific Time
                             4:40 PM April 16 in Tokyo
                             ?:40 PM April 16 in Singapore.

Nothing exciting on the way.  No nail on the tires, no lost purse, no
speeding ticket, no stolen luggage, ..., only LOST one day!   :-)

It's nice to have freebie internet access at the Lounge in Tokyo.

Not sure what kind of internet access I'll have at the Singapore Conrad.
So, if you have any NEDfest time/date for Raffles or whatever get
together, the best bet is to post it in Scuba-SE for me to find it. :-)
