G'Day, Mate! It seems to me that equipment configuaration receives far too
much emphasis when folks talk about DIR; and always at the expense of mental
preparedness; ability; proper and appropriate training; teamwork; and
personal fitness. Which things - to my way of thinking - deserve far more
prominence! :-)
Having said that, I do find the BP, harness and wings to be supremely
comfortable and far easier to handle than any of my previous BCD's! (And I
still have a Fenzy; one of those almost bullet-proof ScubaPro vests; a US
Divers 'Cousteau'; and the Boss, wing-style 'Probe' rusting away in the
garage!) :-)
And BTW! I'll be thinking about you all in a couple of weeks time and look
forward to seeing your report and pics immediately afterwards! :-)))
