When I crossed trained from PADI AOW to BS-AC Sports, I had to complete
numerous thoery modules & practical dives to get to a basic diver level;
one of these modules was on computers. At the time (Jun '95 as I recall, it
was also the last time I went to a hairdressers) there had recently been
some threads on computers on SCUBA-L I think, may have been rec.scuba, but
I was pretty well informed due to the valuable input of various bods on
this list. The module for computers is basically a discussion session, but
turned more into a lecture from myself to the rest, on what a computer
really can & can't do.
Do no other training agencies cover the computer at all ?
Or can I claim BS-AC is better again :-)
