GCM is one location I would NOT recommend flying Continental, for
two simple reasons: too expensive and lousy connection, unless
you live in or near Newark! There is one flight a day on CO to GCM,
from Newark (EWR). You may not be able to make the early connection
(I can't make it from ATL), and if so, you would have to stay
overnight in Newark. From ATL at least, even discounting the
overnight stay nuisance, it costs more than AA or Delta.

AA via MIA to GCM is a popular route I think several CAIV02NEDfesters
are taking, including Crusty and his Crew, Bjorn and Sojong (cuz
Crusty is their Dallas travel agent <G>), Viv from CHA to ORD (O'Hare)
to MIA to GCM, and John and Brooxie from ORD to MIA to GCM. May be
more.

For the past few years, I've flown the DIRECT flight from ATL to
GCM on Delta -- leaving ATL about 10:00 AM and arriving GCM before
noon. That is quicker and less expensive than the AA route of
ATL to MIA to GCM. But Delta doesn't have much redeeming value
otherwise which is why I seldom fly Delta even though ATL is a
Delta hub. YMMV.

But I am interested to see how the fare of those (and other airlines)
compare, to GCM.
