Dive 1 - Divers on the boat with a camera they are learning to use so
shallow and long with lots of things to see was the order of the day.
Back to Tormentos. First thing off the boat on the side of the sand bar
was an electric torpedo and a yellow sting ray 2 feet apart.Stingray
took off but the torpedo just lay there. Unfortunately, I had my camera
in movie mode and did not know it so all I have are some very low-res
MPGs. Found myself surrounded by flounders ranging in size from dimes to
fill your plate. Everywhere I looked was another. Saw some eels and
lots of cleaner shrimp.

Dive 2 - Las Palmas - again shallow and long. Shot so many pictures I
used up the battery. Finally got a nice queen trigger in profile. GOnna
have to figure out how to shoot macro with this camera though. Have not
been able to get that to work very well. It would belp if I could read
the menus under water. Guess I need a new mask with a new prescription.
Or perhaps an eyeball transplant.

We ate at Baldwins B&B last night. Dale makes great cochinita (just had
some more for lunch.)

No diving today. Ventura needed a day off to desaturate and I needed
time to work on some computers (Ventura's among them) and take care of
some honey dos.
