From  what I understand that happened in Florida ( I could be wrong) the
lottery was supposed to be used for education. It is!!!! it just so happens that
the money that was in the budget for education BEFORE the lottery got diverted
to God knows where.

The way I understand it know is that for the most part our education system
in Florida is supported by gambling!!
