I've found it nearly impossible to access the SMB from the backplate storage
pack while wearing thick gloves and a drysuit. Anyone else have this
problem?

What's the optimal positioning for SMB and spool/reel? I'm leaning toward
clipping off both to the back crotch-strap D-ring just before entering the
water. That should keep it in the slipstream, without chancing the tank
unclipping the spool while gearing up.

A small caveat: the smaller ACB pockets hold 10lbs each of cast weight, but
getting in that much shot weight hasn't been possible so far. The most I've
managed so far is 8lbs.
