Welcome to (or back to) the world of sporting photography. I've got at
least three cameras and a couple of video units around here that, at one
time or another, have been protected at the expense of the pictures they
were purchased to take. So far, their ventures into the hazardous world
that is my life, things like diving, boating, snow skiing, surfing and the
like, have resulted in no fatalities, but like others, I'm sure the latest,
greatest and most expensive of my photographic equipment will meet its
demise on the very next trip.
