Water temp 85F. Viz - fair to partly cloudy. Rained most of the night
and the wind kicked up some as we were getting out on the second dive.

1st dive Colombia into Palancar. Saw the largest school of horse-eyed
jacks I have ever seen. Seemed to go on for miles. Like something
straight out of Finding Nemo. Couple of turtles and a nurse shark.
Found a pipe fish in the sand. Lots of grunts, school masters and other
FLRF. Max D 101FSW time 58 minutes.

Interlude - Ventura said he thought there was a school of Atlantic
spadefish hanging out under the pier but he was not sure of the ID. So
I got out my snorkel and went to take a look. Sure nuff, 7 spadefish
hanging out under that dock. Never seen them here before.

2nd dive Yucan into Tormentos - that big school of grey angels is still
there as are the oceanic triggers. In the where is the spear gun when
you need one category a 3 foot or so grouper swam past and then there
was a hogfish. Did see an eagle ray on this dive but that was the extent
of the excitement.

Ventura said there have been mantas with the whale sharks so may get
both in on FRiday.
