It tastes a bit like calamari, (squid), but sweeter and less of that tough,
rubbery texture! :-)

At a personal level, I enjoy them when they're stuffed with diced up
peppers, tomatoes, anchovy, onions, fetta cheese and other things. But you
can have them fried; cooked in their own ink and served up with linguine;
with macaroni, sardines, tomatoes, basil, onion and garlic; BBQ'd; baked;
pan-fried; steamed; or in a fish-stew! :-)
