Sounds like a good reason to get a real address.
Buy a permanent "forwarding" account from www.iname.com, and then point it
to any addresses you want.  As you change addresses, you never have to
change the public forwarding address.

Yahoo, hotmail, and aol are all subject to spamming like this.

We are having similar problems with our yahoo address. I think that some
nasty person is hijacking Yahoo addresses and using them for their own
purposes. We have also started to get mailer-bot messages about bounces. We
have a firewall installed and it is stopping somebody from getting into our
computer. The Yahoo virus check on attachments is also not working.

Apparently an e-mail went out under my yahoo address, [log in to unmask],
that is SPAM, and embarrassing SPAM at that, if you got it, you'll know
what I mean, unless it's something you need.
I got an e-mail back from someone, not on any of these lists, flaming me
about it. Now I'm getting messages from a 'mailer-bot' about bounced
messages.
I can't get a response from Yahoo, big surprise.
To the knowledgeable Cyber-gurus, What can I do? I'd prefer keeping the
address.
