You probably remember me mentioning the flatworm & nudibranch survey in
Coral Bay some of the WAUPS members volunteered their time to with Drs
Newman & Flowers (Queensland University). When she published her paper one
of our club members had a flatworm named after him. Not long after this
trip Leslie scored a job with the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.
She spent quite a bit of time grovelling around in the coral rubble off
Florida during her studies there before she returned to OZ. She is heavily
involved with research work at Heron Island.

Bows & arrows ... where's the indians ;-) When I was there it was machetes
mate :-)) Actually to be honest I had more hassles with the hornbill there
than any security concerns :-)
