...Mike wrote, (in response to my suit induced trauma):

You are a glutton for punishment! :-)

Yes! I certainly am, ...or was, I'll never put on both suits at the same
time again! >:-O But, unfortunately, I have the trimming of the seals
of my drysuit to endure yet. One little snip at a time. (Your advice was
appreciated, Strike.) And for some reason I'm not looking forward to
that. <g>

Not as deep as we thought. Found two vehicles at 84' in 41f water. Vis
at 20' was 6". At 30' where we hit the cold water it was around 10' or
so.

<<< I would have expected better vis in a quarry. I could send you some
zebra mussels to clear it up. ;-) And, I'm surprised it's so cold way
down there in Alabama. I suppose your night temperatures get down to
near freezing sometimes, but the average temperature seems like it would
be fairly warm, at least to an Ohioan.

Two chevy trucks, an S10 and a full size, both late models, both stolen.
One out of Atlanta and one as yet undetermined. It used to belong to an
insurance company. :-) Guess it does again.

<<< I wonder if thier insurance will pay for thier claim. :-))
<<<

No word yet if either of these are the ones the LE dudes were looking
for. :-)

We did not use bags on these vehicles. They were dropped off a straight
wall and were only about 20' out from it. We pulled cable from a large
wrecker and chained it to the frames and he hauled them up and out.
Pretty impressive sight. :-)

<<< A large wrecker indeed, to pull it straight up. ...I hope the
gasoline didn't get into the water, fish, birds, etc., don't like that.

All in all not a bad day. I did three dives of about 20 minutes each
hooking up the trucks. First lift the truck did not want to come up and
broke loose at the base of the wall. We had to drop back down and
rechain it.

<<< So, that truck that broke loose wasn't worth much after all that,
eh? <G>
Well, I think I'll go shop for drysuit unders now. Weezles look like a
great deal at ~$200.°° , compared to DUI's 4G at ~$400.00!!!
