I have no problem at all with your OPINION, on what you called
misquotes and how you chose to react.

I agree, to the extent that the MUGGER should STFU. If someone
dangles LIES about what I said as bait, don't expect ME to shut
up about it, ever.

What you're suggesting, while admirable-sounding on the surface,
is tentamount to one witnessing a mugging in progress which
resulted in a fight between the "mugger" and "muggee", and tell
blame BOTH the mugger and the victim and tell them to get off the
street (for your convenience), INDISCRIMINANTLY.

>I note the semantics of "recruit", "recruitment", whatever. SO WHAT?

I agree with you here. It even had nothing to do with Lee's
complaint about what I wrote. I posted my explanation(s) about it.
YOu apparently chose not to read them.

What IS relevant so Scuba is HOW Lee's behavior of bait and whine
(which led to the downfall of Scuba-L) is happening right here in
Scuba-SE, as some of us aptly noted. THAT is the FOREST. Some
readers got inadvertently drawn into the hole in a TREE, by
the "padantic and pathetic" discussion of the word "recruit". Read
my post(s) explaining all of this.

See the above. One point is self-defense against muggers. The
other is to point out pitfalls to avoid in the future -- not to
fall into the trap set by some people to DIVERT the IMPORTANT
and REAL issues into petty arguments about irrelevant words
introduced by the baiting offender.

Why don't you tell US? Why don't you tell us HOW you attribute the
coming and going traffic to a CAUSE, except for a case or two that
someone POST to signoff as a parting shot?

>Don't we need fresh blood (ABSOLUTELY no pun intended)?

I like the PUN better, actually. :-)

>Hello? Anyone want to listen?

You expect each reader to respond to this question? If not, what's
the POINT in wasting THIS bandwidth? I listen to argument on BOTH
sides, VERY CAREFULLY. The problem with you, and some other posters
about a particular subject is that they DON'T READ or did not
follow carefully what went on, and pops out to expressed their
not-so-well-reasoned OPINION, for lack of pertinent INFORMATION.

If it was, it didn't work, did it? Nor is what you said going
to help, NOT until you can distinguish the MUGGER from the MUGGEE
and only tell the MUGGER to STFU (short for "shut the **** up")
as I have done repeatedly to the LYING baiter, to no avail.
