Not hardly, and easily proven to be wrong. I responded to you last post in
Rec Scuba beginning with words that were or were similiar to "Bob is exactly
correct . . . " I only jump on your case when you violate your own rules by
chipping in with incorrect data on a subject you don't know enough about
and, more particularly, when you criticize someone else in the process.

BTW, I thought you weren't going to read or respond to me any more. Finding
your promises a bit hard to keep?

You still don't know what you are talking about. This time, you presumed to
tell others what I was speaking of. Once again, you got it wrong. Don't
you get tired of the taste of shoeleather? Here's a direct quote. "ACR
2790 PLB -- Personal Locator Beacon Transmits on 406 MHz with a digitally
coded distress signal, also homing signal on 121.5 MHz Small, lightweight
unit can be easily carried in pack or in large pocket " Does this sound
like it comes in an 18x8.5x7 inch carton or weigh 8.6 lbs? Oh yes, the
price is $1,129, pretty much in the $1,000 -ish range I believe. Now let me
see, I mentioned 406 MHz, I mentioned 121.5 MHz and I mentioned a price in
the $1,000 range. The article mentioned size, so I didn't have to.
Personally, I think I hit it pretty much right on the head. What do you
think?
