Since UTC is apparently happy to continue hosting the
list, is it possible to keep it running there and look
into:

1) renaming the list from scuba-SE for the reasons Bob
has noted and
2) getting the archives into Google somehow.

I expect (1) is easily done, but have no clue about
(2).

Richard seems to be interested in keeping the list,
and considers listserv a priority issue, so I
personally think that the offer to stay deserves
serious consideration on our part. Plus we know that
UTC ain't going to go out of business or get taken
over by Microsoft like what happened with Li$tbot.
(note bad grammar for emphasis.)

As a sidebar note, I was on this list before the
Scuba-L folks arrived, and therefore have some
sentimental attachment to our long-time hosts at UTC!!
