Most UK divers have big knives, but you try using one of those piddling
little things you see in the tropics when you are wearing 5 or 7mm gloves &
your hands are freezing; come to think of it, try using shears, that would
be a laugh.
Besides, big knives are great for cuttting up fruit in the boat after the
dive !
