So far, I agree. Kodak has been chasing the Holy Velvia Grail for years and
years, and have yet to produce anything close to the Velvia or Provia
quality, at least not for UW pictures.

I'm not sure this service is aimed at top photographers, but rather at that
segment of the market which does not want to shoot slides, not scan or use
PhotoShop or any other software. They just want some good quality pictures
to show around. Today, that sort of thing is not available.

The fact that this service is underwater specific would lead me to believe
that they would put service people in who know the underwater world, and in
fact, according the article, the service is supposed to mainly be available
through dive centers.
