First I got an email, than a phone-call from the Peter Hughes Fleet
office, about TWO special charters on the Sun Dancer II, each at

             $1,000 DISCOUNT per person!

These are their "last minute" specials because of cancellations, and
I am on their short "sucker list" who can pack up and go, any time. :-)

The FIRST is June 10-20.  But I am already booked to go elsewhere.

The SECOND is June 24 - July 1.  With the discount, it comes to
$1,395 per person!!  Three cabins are still open:  8, 9, and 10.

Although that's NOT the optimal time for diving Palau (been there,
done that in JULY in 12-ft swells <G>), the price is right, and
WE ARE GOING ... if Sue and I can get our FREE FLIGHTS, on our
Continental Frequent Flyer miles.   :-)   I just put in our names
on the WAITING list (for 2 First Class tickies, which should be
much more likely to come through than 2 standard econ).   As
Jeff the Trumpetfish might say, "I am defiNATEly going ... if
and when my free tickets are available and there are still room."
Perhaps that's an "indefinite maybe".  :-)

But Bjorn, Strike, and other folks who can practically SWIM there
might wanna take a look at that "last minute special".
