Well I think I've heard enough enough of the alarm already!!!

Now this time as my letter appears on your screen, read all the words,
and understand what was said. I'll help you by disecting it for you.

Robert,
I really appreciate your very informative letter. I am not cave or
cavern certified, but plan to get a good

taste (a taste would be a small portion, not the whole thing)

of some caves. I will be diving with two

SCUBA instructers, (the SCUBA instructers are cave certified, and very
intelligent and responsible people, not to mention conservative divers.)

and several other people whose diving experience ranges from beginner
to advanced. Peronally, I was certified in September, and have only
logged about thirty dives.

I realize my limitations, (I know what is safe for a diver with my
level of experience)

but expect my instructer to be the first to say, turn back. ( my OW
instructer will be there with me, and the instructer is very safety
concious, and I reiterate...conservative)

But that doesn't mean that we can't go

in for a look (a view, a glimpse, NOT a thorough examination of the
whole thing)

 as long as there is

some light (one of the limiting factors for cave exploration. a rule of
thumb is that if natural light extends into an underwater environment it
can be considered safe, if there are no other limiting factors that
would prohibit safe diving)

and the cave itself is not too

complex. (the word complex is often used to describe a cave that is
narrow, has multiple branching vents, or is silty, etc)

Some places that sound good according
to the book include:

Ginnie Sp.: (thanks for confirming that, I'll go )

Santa Fe River: (if it's clear now, and boat traffic isn't bad, lots of
aquatic life here supposedly)

Devil's Den: (interesting, worth the trip?),

Paradise Sp.: (any aquatic life here?),

Silver River: (natural, abundant life, awesome, but how deep? I think it
sounds perfect, if deep enough.)

Rainbow River: (book said fish were abundant, recommended by you,
thanks!, I'll go)

Crystal River: (I'll go, thanks for recommendation)

Morrison Sp.: (book said one of the finest in Florida, huge basin, cave
with large room at 90', cave cert.? I'll go if possible)

Cypress Sp.: (sounds as good as Morrison Sp.)

Peacock Sp.: (awesome, but can't go far without cave cert.)

(A carefull reading of the list above, and some knowledge of the places
would reveal that I have been cautious in choosing locations for diving.
Most of the caves listed are commercial sites that allow OW divers, and
many places ensure safety by blocking passage beyond what is safe.)

One more thing...I am not a troll, are you?
